2 Die After Car Hydroplanes in Central Kansas
Authorities say two people are dead after a car hydroplaned and collided with an oncoming tractor-trailer in central Kansas.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the crash happened Wednesday on U.S. 56 in McPherson County.
The victims were identified as the car's driver, 21-year-old Nicholas Schwarz, of Lyons, and his passenger, 19-year-old Rebecca Deist, of McPherson. The patrol says the tractor-trailer driver wasn't injured.
