2 People Hospitalized after Johnson County Wreck

Two people were sent to an area hospital after suffering injuries Wednesday afternoon in a rollover wreck in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident at 1:30, on MO-13 just north of MO-2.

According to the online crash report, a 2007 Nissan crossed the center line and traveled off the left side of the road. The Nissan then struck brush and trees, rotating counter-clockwise, and overturned.

The driver, 75-year old Charles E. McIntire, of Lowry City, was not injured, according to the report.

However, two passengers, 67-year old Liubov G. McIntire and 7-year old Veronika Walsh, of Springfield, were taken to Western Missouri Medical Center, by JCAD, for treatment of moderate to serious injuries.

The Nissan was totaled in the accident.
