3 People Injured in Saline County I-70 Wreck

Three people were injured Monday afternoon in a Saline County traffic accident.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident just after 3:00, on I-70 at the 77 mile marker.

According to the online crash report, an eastbound 1994 Chevy S10 overtook and struck the rear of a 2005 Buick Terraza.

The driver of the Chevy, 26-year old Harrison D. Washington, of Centralia, and a passenger, 64-year old Valerie P. Rudy, of Colorado Springs, suffered minor injuries in the accident. Both were taken to Fitzgibbon Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the Buick, 65-year old Mary B. Wade, of Colorado Springs, suffered minor injuries, as well. She was taken to Fitzgibbon, by Sweet Springs EMS, for treatment.

According to the report, both vehicles were totaled.
