Four people were injured early Saturday morning and the driver arrested in a one-vehicle rollover wreck in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck at 1:15 a.m. at SW 1521 and SW 1501 Roads.

According to the online crash report, a 2007 Ford failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the road, struck a ditch and overturned.

Two passengers, 19-year old Corbin Deterding, of Kingsville and 16-year old Alyssa N. Helm, of Holden, suffered serious injuries. A third passenger, 17-year old Hunter J. Rahe, of Holden, suffered minor injuries.

Deterding was taken to Research Medical Center for treatment, while Helm was taken to Children's Mercy Hospital, by Lifeflight, for treatment.

The driver, 21-year old Nathan T. Bertling, of Holden, suffered minor injuries but declined medical treatment. Bertling was reportedly arrested for DWI, two counts of felony assault, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and careless & imprudent driving. He was taken to the Johnson County Jail.

The Ford was totaled and towed.
