74-Year Old Marshall Woman Injured in Wreck

A 74-year old woman from Marshall, MO was injured Tuesday afternoon in vehicle wreck that occurred in Saline County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident at 12:25, on Highway 65 just south of 195th Road.

According to the online crash report, a 2008 Ford truck was slowing down to make a right turn when it was struck in the rear by a 2017 Chevy sedan.

The driver of the Chevy, 74-year old Dorthy M. Carroll, suffered moderate injuries in the wreck. She was taken to Fitzgibbon Hospital, by Saline County EMS, for treatment.

The driver of the Ford, 54-year old Milton N. Wright, Marshall, was reportedly uninjured.

The Chevy was totaled and towed.
