Additional Information

Trusting your gut means more than just relying on your intuition. It also means listening to your body and its symptoms what it’s trying to tell you.

Dr. Sigi Joseph, a surgeon with Bothwell Surgical Services, will discuss digestive health at the next installment of Bothwell Regional Health Center’s The Doctor Is In. The program, titled “Trust Your Gut,” will cover everything from the stomach and gall bladder to colonoscopies. Dr. Joseph will discuss the signs and symptoms of digestive problems and share information about common surgeries.

The “Trust Your Gut” sessions will be held at 6:30 p.m., Sept. 11, in the Bothwell Education Center on the southeast corner of 14th and Ingram in Sedalia, and at 6:30 p.m., Sept. 12, at Bothwell Health Center-Truman Lake, 1765 Commercial Street in Warsaw.

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about common concerns and treatment options for digestive conditions.

Bothwell sponsors The Doctor Is In to provide the public with an opportunity to learn about health issues. Both events are free and open to the public.
