The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle injury accident in Benton County that sent a Warsaw man to an area hospital Saturday evening.

The accident occurred just after 5:00, on Route MM, at Tanglewood Avenue.

A 2009 Ford Focus and a 2003 Dodge were traveling north on Route MM. The Dodge stopped to yield to a cattle truck that was backing across the road. During the stop, the Ford struck the rear of the Dodge.

The driver of the Dodge, 75-year old Jerry B. Houchens, of Warsaw, suffered minor injuries in the accident. He was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center, by ambulance, for treatment.

According to the report, the Ford Focus sustained moderate damage, while the Dodge had minor damage.
