A Clinton Man Suffered Injuries in a Vehicle Accident Saturday Afternoon

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle injury accident Saturday afternoon in Henry County.

The accident occurred just before 4:00 at 1339 Southwest 18 Highway, as a 2011 Chrysler was heading east. The vehicle travelled off the left side of the road, struck the edge of a driveway, a mailbox, and a tree.

The driver, identified as 41-year old Michael D. Kruse, of Clinton, was taken to Research Medical Center by Lifeflight, for the treatment of moderate injuries.

The Chrysler was totaled in the wreck.
