The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle accident that injured a Sedalia woman Saturday afternoon.

The accident occurred just after 12:00 at Route Y and Quisenberry Road. A 1998 Chevrolet was stopped at the intersection, then pulled into the path of a 2003 Cadillac. The vehicle impacted and both traveled off the southeast corner of the intersection, before coming to rest.

The driver of the Chevy, 55-year old Scott S. Peck, of Cole Camp, was not injured in the accident. However, the driver of the Cadillac, 62-year old Susan M. Morris, of Sedalia, suffered minor injuries in the accident. She was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.

According to the report, the Chevy was extensively damaged, and the Cadillac was totaled.
