A Vehicle Accident in Johnson County Sent a Harrisonville Man to an Area Hospital Early Monday Morning

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle injury accident in Johnson County, early Monday morning.

The accident occurred around 1:20, on Highway 50, just east of Northwest 821 Road.

A 2011 Kenworth traveled off the right side of the road, and began sliding. The slide caused the trailer to rotate to the left. The Kenworth then returned to the road, where it overturned, and came to rest on the left side of the highway.

The driver, 54-year old Randall C. Coburn, of Harrisonville, suffered minor injuries in the accident. He was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center, by the Johnson County Ambulance District, for treatment.

According to the report, the 2011 Kenworth sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene.
