A Warsaw Teenager Was Injured in a Vehicle Accident Wednesday Evening

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a vehicle accident that injured a Warsaw teenager, Wednesday evening.

The accident occurred around 5:00 in Benton County, on Route BB at Route OO.

A 2001 Hyundai was heading westbound, when it traveled off the right side of the road. The driver then overcorrected, and traveled off the left side of the roadway, striking an embankment. The Hyundai then overturned and struck a fence.

The driver, 18-year old Destiny A. Pearson, of Warsaw, suffered minor injuries in the accident. She was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center, by the Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance District, for treatment.

According to the report, the Hyundai was extensively damaged, and was towed from the scene.
