A Clinton man was treated for minor injuries after his motorcycle and another vehicle struck a deer Sunday night in Johnson County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2013 Kia Rio, driven by 43-year-old Courtney Jenkins of Sedalia, was traveling southbound on Missouri 13 when the vehicle struck the deer just after 9 p.m. The deer then was struck by a 2016 Harley Davidson, driven by 23-year-old Zachary Stimac of Clinton. Stimac was ejected from the motorcycle, which suffered moderate damage in the accident.

Stimac was taken to Centertpoint Medical Center by Johnson County EMS for the treatment of minor injuries. No injuries were reported for Jenkins.
