Henry County accident injures two Edwards senior citizens

Just after 2 o’clock Monday afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an injury accident on Missouri “7” North of Route “U” in Henry County. According to the report, the accident occurred as the driver of a 2001 Ford F350 lost a towed unit, causing it to cross the center line and strike the 2008 Ford Taurus driven by 71-year-old Sharon Schuetz of Edwards head-on. Schuetz and her passenger, 76-year-old Bernard Shuetz, also of Edwards, sustained serious injuries and were life flighted to Research Medical for treatment.

 

Clinton man injured in a one-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, 26-year-old Claude Livingston received moderate injuries in a Henry County accident around 3-o’clock Sunday afternoon. The accident on Missouri 52 East of Vansant Road in Henry County occurred when the 1996 Honda driven by 26-year-old Claude Livingston of Clinton traveled off the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned. Livingston received moderate injuries and was transported to Golden Valley Memorial by EMS for treatment.

 

20-year-old Raymore man suffers minor injuries in a Lafayette County accident Monday

At 8:07 Monday morning, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on I-70 a half mile West of Missouri 131 in Lafayette County.  According to the report, the accident happened when the driver of a 1999 Ford Taurus, 20-year-old Jordan Fox of Raymore, fell asleep, ran off the roadway and struck a cable barrier. Fox received minor injuries and decided to seek his own treatment. The report states charges are pending.

 

Arizona teen suffers minor injuries in a Saline County accident

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a motorcycle accident on I-70 westbound at Missouri 127 in Saline County. The accident reportedly occurred as the 1986 Yamaha driven by 19-year-old James Quaranta of Glendale Arizona entered a construction zone, ran off the roadway and overturned in the median, ejecting the driver. Quaranta received minor injuries and was treated and released at the scene by Sweet Springs EMS.
