Passenger in a Taxi threatens to shoot the driver and other passengers

Around12:40 Saturday morning the Sedalia Police responded outside the police station to a call from Extreme Taxi Service on a disturbance by a passenger. Upon contact with the driver he told officers he picked the man up at Dukes and Boots with another passenger plus him and his wife in the vehicle. The driver said as he was driving the man home he became loud and belligerent with the other passenger a female. They attempted to drop the man off but he said he had a gun and would shoot them. The police took 30-year-old Gary Horn of Sedalia into custody. The police report states after he was cleared by the hospital for confinement he was taken to the Pettis County Jail and placed on 24-hour hold pending charges of harassment to frighten,  assault 3rd degree, peace disturbance, and assault on a law enforcement officer.

21-year-old Sedalia woman arrested on an active warrant Sunday

Just after midnight Sunday morning Sedalia Police investigated a reported physical disturbance in the 500 block of South Kentucky. During the investigation officers made contact with a female suspect not involved in the disturbance, but with an active failure to appear warrant. Arrested at the scene was 21-year-old Infinity C. Paull of Sedalia.

She was taken to the Pettis County jail pending an $88.50 bond.

At 7:27 Sunday night Sedalia Police responded to Walmart on a female suspect who was reportedly taking things out of boxes, and putting them in her purse. Officers arrested 35-year-old Elane K. Peters of Tipton for shoplifting $141.49 worth of merchandise. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail pending action by the Prosecutor.

Pettis County Sheriff’s Deputies arrest a Sedalia man on a warrant Friday

At 11:20 Friday night Pettis County Deputies reportedly arrested Bobby Joe Moore of Sedalia on an active failure to appear warrant for a seatbelt violation during a traffic stop. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail pending bond.

Theft complaint investigated by Pettis County Deputies Friday

Around 11:15 Friday morning Pettis County Deputies took a stealing complaint from a victim in the 20,000 block of Highway 65. According to the victim someone stole jewelry valued at $1800 from her locker. An investigation is ongoing according to the Sheriff’s report.
