Windsor woman is seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon

Around 3:50 Tuesday afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an injury accident on County Road Northeast 1200 just East of Route “J” in Henry County. According to the accident report the accident occurred as a 1999 Ford driven by 27-year-old Misty L. Watkins of Windsor lost control of her vehicle as it travelled over a bridge onto a gravel road. The vehicle travelled off the roadway, and overturned, ejecting Watkins, who was not wearing a seat belt. Watkins suffered serious injuries, and was transported to Research Main by Life Flight Eagle for treatment.

Stover Woman injured in a Pettis County accident Tuesday morning

The Missouri State Highway Patrol, assisted by Pettis County Deputies reported a rollover accident on Route “M” North of McGee Road in Pettis County at 11am Tuesday morning. The accident report states the 2001 Chevrolet driven by 56-year-old Mary Stewart of Stover ran off the roadway and struck a mailbox. The vehicle then returned to the roadway, and the driver overcorrected causing the vehicle to skid off the roadway again, overturn, and strike a fence before coming to rest on its side. Stewart received moderate injuries in the crash, and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Pettis County EMS for treatment.

Sedalia driver injured in a Saline County accident Tuesday night

At 8:20pm Tuesday night the Missouri State Highway patrol reported a one vehicle accident on US-65 at 159th Road in Saline County. The accident reportedly occurred as the 2003 Ford driven by 18-year-old Brian K. Laster of Sedalia swerved to avoid an animal in the roadway. The vehicle then travelled off the roadway where it struck a ditch and a road sign, before coming to rest on its wheels. Laster was taken to Fitzgibbon Hospital by Saline County EMS for treatment of moderate injuries.

26-year-old Warrensburg woman injured in a Johnson County accident

Just before 2pm Tuesday afternoon the Missouri State highway Patrol along with officers from the Knob Noster Police Department reported a one-vehicle accident on Missouri-23 South of County road Southeast 257. The accident happened according to the report as the 1991 Chevrolet driven by Hannah M Brunner travelled off the roadway after the driver failed to negotiate a curve. Brunner then overcorrected causing the vehicle to travel back onto the roadway, and then travel off the other side of the roadway where it struck an embankment and came to rest. Brunner was wearing a seatbelt and suffered minor injuries. She was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center by Johnson County for treatment.
