Pettis County accident injures a Sedalia man Tuesday afternoon

At 1:45 Tuesday afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on Route “B” and Ragar Road in Pettis County. The accident occurred according to the report as the 2008 Mercury driven by 56-year-old Tammy L. Fox of Sedalia travelled off the right side of the roadway. The vehicle returned to the roadway where Fox over corrected, and ran off the roadway again. The vehicle then overturned causing the extensive damage. Fox suffered minor injuries, and was taken to Bothwell Hospital by a family member for treatment.

Three vehicle accident reported in Saline County this (Thursday) morning

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported two Marshall residents were injured in a three vehicle accident on Westbound I-70 just past mile marker 76 in Saline County. The accident reportedly occurred as emergency vehicles were on the scene of a prior accident. A 2008 Ford Crown Victoria driven by 32-year-old Daniel Kirchoff of Marshall who was involved in the prior crash moved from the shoulder, and into the path of a 2008 Volvo driven by 37-year-old Andrew Rienert of Belton, causing the Volvo to strike the Ford, that then travelled off the roadway where it struck a pedestrian, and a 2012 Ford F-550, totaling the Ford Crown Victoria, and causing only minor to the Ford F-550. Kirchoff and the pedestrian identified as 50-year-old Walter Caldwell Jr. received minor injuries in the accident. Kirchoff was transported to Fitzgibbons Hospital by EMS for treatment, while Caldwell refused treatment at the scene.
