Sedalia man arrested for possession of methamphetamine Thursday morning

At 4:32 Thursday Morning Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. A check of the passengers revealed one of them identified as 57-year-old Burl A. Brown of Sedalia was in possession of methamphetamine. Brown was arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail and placed on 24-hour hold pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance.

Traffic stop on South Harrison results in arrest for a Sedalia man

Around 2:12 this (Friday) morning a Sedalia Police Officer observed a vehicle in the area of 18th and Harrison registered to an owner known to have a Benton County Warrant. Following a traffic stop the warrant was confirmed, and the suspect, 24-year-old Curtis Ryan Hull of Sedalia was arrested, and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a $150 bond.

59-year-old intoxicated man placed on 12-hour protective custody

According to a Sedalia Police report officers were dispatched to the area of 16th and Ohio on an intoxicated subject. Upon arrival officers determined the man identified as 59-year-old Harold E. Martin of Sedalia had no one to care for him. Martin was taken into custody, and placed on 12-hour protective custody.

Wood’s Supermarket reported a man left the store just before 11pm Thursday night with $26.57 worth of merchandise he did not pay for. There was no information on the suspect.

Pettis County Deputies arrest a Sedalia man on a Knob Noster Warrant

At 3:15 Thursday afternoon Pettis County Deputies arrested Gregory A. Naylor at the Probation and Parole Office located at 205 Thompson Blvd. on an active warrant out of the Knob Noster Police Department. At the time of the arrest report Naylor was in the Pettis County Jail.

Pleasant Hill woman reports thefts from her vehicle Wednesday afternoon

Around 2:50pm Wednesday afternoon a Pleasant Hill woman reported  items were stolen from her vehicle while it was parked in the 3200 block of West 16th. There were no suspects at the time of the Sheriff’s report.
