Sedalia man arrested on warrants early this (Thursday) morning

At 2:10 this (Thursday) morning Sedalia Police conducted a subject check at a residence in the 400 block of East Booneville. Upon arrival officers located the subject, and dispatch confirmed warrants from Pettis County and Cooper County. 22-year-old Joshua Michael Durbin of the residence was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending $10,088.50 in bonds.

33-year-old man arrested late Wednesday night for domestic assault

Just before mid-night Wednesday night Sedalia Police responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of South Grand. Upon arrival the female victim told officers her husband had assaulted her. Following an investigation 33-year-old Jesus Garcia-Gonzalas of the residence was arrested, and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on 24-hour hold pending charges of 3rd degree domestic assault.

Homeless man taken into custody at the Johnson County on a warrant

Around 4:24 this (Thursday) morning the Sedalia Police were dispatched to the Johnson County Line to take custody of a homeless man with a Sedalia Municipal Warrant. At the time of the police report 45-year-old Dale W. Kabler was in the Pettis County jail pending an $88.50 bond on a Municipal failure to appear warrant out of Sedalia.

Sedalia man files a theft complaint against his Roommate this (Thursday) morning

At 3:12 this (Thursday) morning a victim in the 400 block of West 4th filed a theft complaint with the Sedalia Police. According to the victim his roommate took items from the apartment Wednesday evening valued at approximately $859. There was no further information in the police report.

Thieves break into a barn on North Harding and steal tools

On Wednesday a victim in the 200 block of North Harding reported his barn had been burglarized. According to the victim thieves entered the barn through a Westside door, and stole several items, including a Blue Miller Welding Machine, and welding rods. There were no suspects at news time.

Sedalia Water Department reports trash dumped on Covered Bridge Road

Just before 9:30 this (Thursday) morning an employee of the Sedalia Water Department reported trash had been dumped on Covered Bridge Road. According to the police report papers among the trash had an address of a house in the 1500 block of South Kentucky, that is currently being renovated. The report states the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to contact the owners of the home.
