28-year-old man arrested for domestic assault Monday night

At 11:41 Monday night Sedalia Police were dispatched to a residence in the 1900 block of Park Avenue for an unknown incident. Upon arrival officers found a victim who was reportedly hysterical. The victim told officers the suspect 28-year-old Charles Troy Shaver of the residence had engaged in a verbal and physical fight with her. During the investigation the officers noticed a cut and blood on the victim. Shaver was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on 24-hour hold pending 2nd degree domestic assault charges.

48-year-old man faces 2nd degree domestic assault charges this (Tuesday) morning

Just before 1am this (Tuesday) morning Sedalia Police responded to a residence in the 800 block of East 7th on a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival officers made contact with the male suspect, 48-year-old Frank Irvin Arndt of the residence, who reportedly admitted he had hit his wife while attempting to take a cell phone from her. The police report states the victim’s face had red marks, but she refused treatment. Arndt was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail and placed on 24-hour hold pending charges of 2nd degree domestic assault.

Traffic stop nets Sedalia man with an active warrant

Around 11:12 Monday night Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at 14th and Montgomery with expired registration. A check on the driver 19-year-old Deante Rashaad Marshall of Sedalia he was found to have an active warrant out of Pettis County. Marshall was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a $73 cash only bond.

Sedalia woman reports she is the victim of a scam

Late Monday night a female victim in the 1300 block of East 24th reported she was a victim of a scam. There were no details on the scam, or the amount of money involved, but the victim stated her bank account was now overdrawn. There was no information on a possible suspect in the police report.

Pettis County Sheriff’s Reports

Just before 11am this (Tuesday) morning Pettis County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Joshua Couch of Sedalia on an active Pettis County Warrant at the Probation and Parole Office, and took him to the Pettis County Jail pending further action.

Sunday Evening Pettis County Sheriff’s Deputies took a property damage complaint in the 20000 block of Palmer Road.
