Theft Complaints From Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff’s Departments

On Thursday (May 15) “Advantage Metal Recycling” in the 300 block of Iron Avenue reported they had captured a theft on their surveillance Video system. There has been suspect information obtained from the video, and an investigation is ongoing.

At 9:47am this (Friday May 16) morning a victim in the 1000 block of Madison Avenue reported a 5X8 Carry-on Brand Trailer was stolen from beside his house. The license number on the plate attached to the trailer is 41D8LV. There were no suspects at news time.

Around 10:20 this (Friday May 16) morning A complainant with the Sedalia 200 School District reported the theft of tools to the school’s resource deputy. According to the complainant several tools belonging to him, and the school district were stolen from his district owned maintenance vehicle. The thefts happened around 6:45pm Thursday (May 15) while the vehicle was parked near Washington Elementary School. An investigation continues into the thefts.
