Sedalia man arrested for animal abuse Sunday morning

At 3:41 Sunday morning Sedalia police responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 600 block of west 4th. Upon arrival the caller told officers her boyfriend, 20-year-old Steven Tyler Thomas of the residence was out of control. She said during an argument he grabbed his dog and threw it at a window breaking the window. Thomas was arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail pending a $133.50 bond on a charge of animal abuse.

49-year-old Greenridge man arrested for stealing a bottle of alcohol

Around 5pm Sunday afternoon Sedalia Police were dispatched to the Liquor Locker at 513 west Main on a man who stole a bottle of alcohol, and drank it outside of the business. The suspect identified as 49-year-old Douglas Bolejack of Greenridge was still outside the business when officers located him. At the time of the police report he was in the Pettis County Jail pending a $533.50 bond.

Walking man arrested on drug related charges early Monday morning

Just past midnight Monday morning Sedalia Police observed a man walking in the street in the area of 5th and Lamine. Upon contact with the man he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, and a syringe. Arrested at the scene was D32-year-old Darren Allen Pullen of Sedalia. Pullen was arrested and taken to the Pettis County jail pending formal charges.

46-year-olds man arrested on a failure to appear warrant Friday

Around 10am Friday morning Sedalia Police arrested 46-year-old Ronile A. Roberts of Sedalia on a failure to appear warrant. Bond on the warrant was placed at $88.50 cash only.

Burglar makes entry through a window

Just after 4am Sunday morning a victim in the 1800 block of South Engineer reported someone had entered his home through a window, and burglar4ized the inside of the residence.

Thieves target a trailer belonging to Human Services

At 9 minutes after 8 Monday morning a complainant in the 500 block of North Park reported thieves had stolen a black 14 foot trailer from property belonging to the Center for Human Services. The complainant told Sedalia Police Officers there was also $125 worth of scrap metal on the trailer. There were no suspects at the time of the police report.

Crime reports from the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office

On Saturday a victim reported the theft of his white 1995 Jeep Cherokee while it sat at Phillips Automotive located at 4207 South Limit. There are no suspects.

On Saturday a Greenridge man reported the theft of $1500 worth of items from his property on Dove Road. An investigation is pending into the thefts.

An assault was reported to Pettis County Sheriff’s Deputies Saturday night, that took place in the 1300 block of east Booneville Road. There were no other details in the report.

Around 4:10 Sunday afternoon Pettis County Deputies took an assault complaint that occurred in the 4700 block of South Limit. An investigation continues into the incident.
