Suspect threatens man with a baseball bat on South Moniteau

Just after 7pm Wednesday night Sedalia Police responded to a residence in the 200 block of South Moniteau, on a disturbance. Upon arrival a victim told the officers the suspect who was not identified had threatened him with a baseball bat as he was trying to talk to him. The police report states a Summons was issued to the suspect.

Pettis County Deputies investigate an animal neglect complaint Wednesday morning

At 10:22 Wednesday morning Pettis County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 3900 block of Chapel Drive in reference to an animal neglect complaint. The Sheriff’s report states the Humane Society of Missouri has been notified, and an investigation is ongoing.

Victim on West 32nd reports a case of forgery this (Thursday) 9/11 morning

Around 9am this (Thursday) morning a victim on West 32nd Street reported a check belonging to him in the amount of $314 has been forged. There was no other information in the Sheriff’s report.
