Woman reports a case if identification theft Tuesday
At 2:35 Tuesday afternoon Sedalia Police took an identity theft complaint from a female victim in the 800 block of Olsen Road. According to the victim someone had used her personal information to open a loan on the internet. The case is currently under investigation.
TV reported stolen on South Grand
Around 2:50 Tuesday afternoon Sedalia Police responded to an apartment in the 1100 block of South Grand on a theft complaint. Upon arrival the victim told the officers someone entered their apartment and stole their television. There were no suspects at the time of the police report.
Missouri State Highway Patrol reports an accident in Johnson County
At 10:20 Tuesday morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle injury accident, that occurred on Missouri Highway 13 at Missouri Route DD in Johnson County. The accident report states the accident happened as a 2001 Subaru Outback driven by 67-year-old Doug S. Miller of Warrensburg struck the concrete island of a roundabout at the intersection, travelled through the grassy area at the center of the roundabout where it struck two MODOT signs. The vehicle then travelled through the roundabout striking another concrete island before coming to rest. Miller suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center by Johnson County Ambulance District for treatment.
