Sedalia man reported property damage and assault Wednesday afternoon

At 2:44 Wednesday afternoon Sedalia Police were dispatched to a residence in the 1400 block of South Sneed on a theft, and assault complaint. Upon arrival the suspect had left the area. The victim told officers the suspect who was familiar to him had assaulted him, and broke out the rear window of his vehicle. The victim had minor injuries, but refused to be taken to the hospital. The suspect had not been located at the time of the police report.

Theft complaint investigated Wednesday afternoon on South Kentucky

Around 2:45 Wednesday afternoon a victim in the 500 block of South Kentucky reported someone stole her wallet out of her purse while it was in her office. The wallet contained a bank card, and several credit cards. A suspect was questioned, but has denied involvement. The theft is under investigation.

Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a Pettis County accident Wednesday night

Just before midnight Wednesday night the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an injury accident on Missouri Highway 127 South of Crawford Road in Pettis County. The accident occurred as the 1989 Mercury driven by 34-year-old Josh Nanneman of Sedalia struck an animal in the roadway. Nanneman, and a passenger 23-year-old Kayla Hutson of Sedalia received minor injuries in the crash. Nanneman refused treatment, while Hutson was transported by EMS to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.
