26-year-old female arrested for theft from her employer

At 9:11 Friday morning Sedalia Police were dispatched to a business in the 2900 block of West Broadway on a suspected theft. Upon arrival the manager told the officers after a check of the company books a female employee was being terminated in the suspected theft. The police report states the woman was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail pending formal charges.

Thieves take man’s license plates while the vehicle was undergoing repair

Just after 8pm Tuesday night Sedalia Police took a theft complaint from a victim in the 2900 block of West Main. According to the victim his vehicle was parked for repairs, and when he returned to retrieve the vehicle he found the license plates had been stolen. The number on the Missouri plates is SK0X9J. There are no suspects at news time.

Day Care Center reports its mailbox was vandalized

Around 9am Tuesday morning Honey Bear Day Care at 3109 Aaron Avenue reported someone had broken into the mailbox of the business. The police report states the door was hanging open when they arrived. There were no suspects.

Early morning thief steals chargers from a vehicle

At 4am this (Wednesday) morning Sedalia Police were dispatched to a residence in the 1000 block of East 11th on a theft from a motor vehicle. Upon arrival the female victim told the officers sometime after 2am this (Wednesday) morning someone stole three chargers from her vehicle. There was no information on a possible suspect at the time of the police report.
