Woman arrested on multiple charges following a traffic stop Sunday night

At 7:48 Sunday night Sedalia Police attempted to stop a vehicle at 5th and Ohio for equipment failure. The vehicle failed to stop when the emergency lights and siren were activated, and a short pursuit ensued. The vehicle stopped at 5th and Moniteau, and the officer arrested 31-year-old Mary L. Gilmore and transported her to the Pettis County Jail pending formal charges of resisting arrest, driving while revoked, and a probation/parole violation.

Loud radio leads to a Sedalia man’s arrest on warrants

Around 3:15 Sunday afternoon Sedalia Police investigated a report of loud noise at a residence in the 900 block of South Ohio. Upon arrival the officers made contact with a subject barbecuing on his front porch with their radio playing loudly. A subsequent check on the subject revealed he had 2-Pettis County warrants with a bond of $3500.

17-year-old female arrested on a warrant following a verbal disturbance call

At 4:22pm Saturday afternoon Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Herold Avenue on a verbal disturbance. Upon arrival officers made contact with the suspect 17-year-old Erika Michelle Vivone of Sedalia who said she was frustrated because her vehicle would not start.  A check through dispatch revealed that Vivone had a warrant out of Pettis County with a bond of $1500 surety, or $300 cash.

Suspect is known in a vandalism case that was reported last Thursday

According to a police report Thursday afternoon a female victim in the 300 block of West 5th, reported someone had forced entry to her home, and destroyed property while she was out of town the past week. The police report states a suspect has been identified, but had not been located at the time of the police report.

Vandal targets a Jeep with a BB gun in the 400 block of East Saline

At 1:28 Sunday afternoon the Sedalia Police took a report of vandalism from a victim in the 400 Block of East Saline. The victim told the officers that someone had shot his Jeep Liberty with a BB gun. The police report states the rear glass, and some of the body of the vehicle showed damage from BBs.

Jiffy Stop at 1722 West Broadway reported a $43 gas drive off.
