42-year-old woman arrested following a verbal disturbance this Friday morning

At 2:51 this (Friday) morning Sedalia Police responded to a verbal disturbance in the 500 block of West 6th. Upon arrival a victim told the officers 42-year-old Michelle Webb of Sedalia was yelling and disturbing his peace. The police report also states Webb was taken into 12 hour protective custody due to being intoxicated and not being able to take care of herself. Webb also had a bond on the peace disturbance charge of $283.

Theft of a vehicle reported by local business

Around 9:30 Thursday morning Sedalia Police responded to Moore’s Greenhouse at 3311 Green Ridge Road on a theft complaint. Upon arrival the complainant reported a trailer valued at $1500 was stolen from the business.

Three thefts from vehicles reported Thursday on Sedalia’s Southside

At 11am Thursday morning Sedalia Police were dispatched to a residence in the 1800 block of South Barrett on a theft from a motor vehicle report. According to the victim sometime overnight someone stole a deck of Magic Gathering Cards valued at $1000, and a box of Dice worth $100 from their vehicle.
A second overnight theft from a motor vehicle was reported at 7am Thursday morning in the 1800 block of South Carr where unspecified items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle. A third theft from a vehicle took place overnight in the 1200 block of South Carr, and the thief or thieves made off with $5 in change. There are no suspects at news time.

Thieves take a title from a truck on South Grand

Thursday morning a victim in the 200 block of South Grand reported his truck was entered, and the title was stolen overnight.

 Vandals throw Tomatoes on a home on South Barrett

At 11:20 Thursday morning Sedalia Police took a vandalism complaint from a complainant in the 1600 block of South Barrett. According to the complainant someone threw tomatoes at her house. There was no damage, and no suspects in the case.

A hit and run accident was reported in Wood’s Supermarket parking lot located at 711 East Broadway Thursday afternoon.
