50-year-old intoxicated woman arrested for misusing 911 this (Tuesday) morning

At 4:50 this (Tuesday) morning Sedalia Police were dispatched to a residence in the 500 block of North Washington on a reportedly intoxicated female, who had been calling 911, and cursing at the dispatcher. Upon arrival officers made contact with the woman identified as 50-year-old Lela Gail Jackson of the residence. According to Jackson she was upset6 because the police would not come and unlock her vehicle for her. The police report states after the officers explained that was not an emergency call Jackson was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail. At the time of the police report Jackson was on 24-hour hold pending charges of assault on a law enforcement officer 3rd degree, and misusing 911.

Local warehouse reported burglarized Friday afternoon

Around 4:20 Friday afternoon Sedalia Police investigated a burglary at a warehouse located in the 400 block of East Main. According to the victim someone forced entry to the warehouse, and removed $5000 worth of unspecified Materials. The police report states some of the materials were recovered along with suspect information. The suspect had not been contacted at the time of the police report.

Sedalia Police reported an El Salvador Passport was recovered near Goody’s Restaurant early this “Tuesday” Morning.

At 8:18 this “Tuesday” morning a sign reading “No Trucks” was found in an alley way in the 1800 block of South Prospect.
