Suspect with a Parole Violation Warrant arrested Sunday afternoon

At 2:10 Sunday afternoon Sedalia Police made contact with a suspect known to have an active Pettis County warrant. Following confirmation through dispatch police arrested 25-year-old Matthew R. Fischer of Sedalia, and transported him to the Pettis County Jail pending a $1000 cash bond and a $2500 cash or surety bond.

20-year-old Sedalia man issued a summons for loud noise Sunday evening

Just before 6:30 Sunday evening a Sedalia Police Officer observed 20-year-old David K. Routh of Pleasant Hill doing donuts in the parking lot of Westlakes Ace Hardware at 10th and Thompson Blvd. The police report states Routh was issued a Municipal Summons, and given a court date for loud noise due to a loud motor.

Woman’s room-mate sought for assaulting her on Thursday

According to a Sedalia Police Report officers were dispatched to Bothwell Hospital Emergency Room on a reported assault. Upon arrival the victim told the officers her room-mate had assaulted her. The woman said the suspect left the residence while she was unconscious. The police report states the suspect had not been located at the time of the police report.

Three vehicles suffer tire damage Saturday night or early Sunday morning

At 11:46 Sunday morning three victims in the 2400 block of West 2nd reported tires on their vehicles were damaged overnight. A damage estimate was placed at approximately $900. According to the police report the police department took a report the previous night on the same kind of illegal activity. There were no suspects at the time of the police report.

Hit and run accident reports

On Friday a hit and run accident was reported at 16th and Engineer. The police report states a Jeep Cherokee was struck, and suffered damage to the front end of the vehicle. The police report also states the suspect’s vehicle license was found, and the suspect is being sought.

There was a hit and run accident reported in the 1600 block of West 18th Saturday morning. The accident reportedly took place overnight, and there were no witnesses. The suspect had not been located at the time of the police report.
