Sedalia woman reports a burglary that happened Saturday

At 1:21 Monday afternoon a female victim came to the police station to file a burglary complaint. According to the victim she had met with two subjects near 10th and Engineer on Saturday to get back some items belonging to her. The two subjects reportedly got into her vehicle, and both showed her handguns, and forcibly took her wallet. The suspects are known, and an investigation is ongoing.

Sedalia man reports his identity stolen for tax refund purposes

Just before noon Monday morning a male victim came to the police department to report his identity had been stolen. The victim told the police when he tried to file his taxes he was told he was already claimed as a dependent by someone. The theft is under investigation.
