Afternoon Sedalia Police Crime Reports For Friday April 10, 2015
Intoxicated driver arrested after a speeding stop this (Friday) morning
At 12:39 am this (Friday) morning Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at Broadway and Thompson Blvd. for speeding. Upon contact with the driver the officer asked the driver to perform a field sobriety test, which he reportedly refused to do. 25-year-old Kelsey C. Layton of Sedalia was arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail where he was found to be intoxicated. At the time of the police report Layton was in the Pettis County jail pending formal charges.
28-year-old Sedalia man arrested on a warrant early this (Friday) morning
Around 4:25 this (Friday) morning Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle for speeding at Broadway and Beacon . A subsequent check on the occupants of the vehicle revealed that 28-year-old Alphonso Caphone Fergusen of Sedalia had a failure to appear warrant out of Pettis County. He was arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail pending a $176.50 bond.
