Woman punctures a man’s tire with a knife Thursday evening

At 5:45pm Thursday evening Sedalia Police responded to Scott Joplin Court on a disturbance involving a knife. Upon arrival the male complainant reported a female identified as 45-year-old Carolyn R. Wright of Sedalia had punctured his tire with a knife. Wright was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a $531.50 bond on a charge of destruction of property.

Child bit by a dog while waiting on a school bus last Thursday

The Sedalia Police investigated a dog bite that took place in the area of 5th and Brown last Thursday. The police report states the victim was a child who was waiting on a school bus. The police report states the canine was captured, and the owner was issued a summons.

Pit Bulls running loose kills a woman’s Pomeranian

Around 10:50 Thursday night Sedalia Police were dispatched to the area of 16th and Kentucky on a report of two Pit Bull Dogs running loose. Upon arrival the officer was able to get the dogs in his patrol car. The complainant told the officer the dogs had killed her Pomeranian Dog, that was tied up in the front yard of her home. There was no information on the owner of the dogs in the report who had let the dogs run loose.

Woman sought for stealing by deceit at the Walmart Store

At 9:20 Thursday night a complainant from Walmart reported a female suspect used coupons she did not purchase items for at the store, and then left with $194.50 worth of merchandise. There was no other information in the police report.
