Man assaulted Thursday night by three Hispanic males

At 7:31 Thursday night the Sedalia Police investigated an assault, that took place at the stop sign on McDonald’s Drive and 18th Street. Upon arrival the male victim told the officers three Hispanic males had jumped out of a vehicle that pulled up beside him at the stop sign, and pulled him from his vehicle. The victim had min or injuries in the assault, and reportedly needed no medical attention. During the assault a window of the vehicle was broken out and the victim’s cell phone was damaged. Estimated cost of repairs was set at $650. The suspects have not yet been located.

Traffic stop this (Friday) morning results in arrest for a Sedalia woman

Around 8:20 this (Friday) morning Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with no license plates. A check through dispatch revealed the driver, Jessica L. Coffman of Sedalia had a Benton County warrant. At the time of the police report she was in the Pettis County Jail pending a $150 bond.

Walmart reports fraudulent returns Thursday

On Thursday the Walmart Store reported four suspects had fraudulently returned merchandise from the store for a gift card worth $118.50. There was no information on the suspects in the police report.

Thieves target a worksite this (Friday) morning

At 10am this (Friday) morning a victim in the 2600 block of Clarendon Road reported a DeWalt Band Saw was stolen from a work site. There was no information on possible suspects, and no value was available on the saw.
