Hughesville woman arrested for unlawful transaction with a child on Tuesday
According to a Sedalia Police report at 10:45 Tuesday morning the Criminal Investigation Department of the Sedalia Police Department along with the Morgan County Children’s Division arrested 27-year-old Ashley K. Swope of Hughesville. The police report states during an investigation Swope admitted she had used drugs around her children on more than one occaisaion while she lived in Sedalia between September and November of 2014. Swope was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail where she was booked and released pending further action on a charge of unlawful transaction with a child.
Woman on Albright Court reports her debit card used fraudulently
Just after 10am this (Wednesday) morning a female victim in the 400 block of Albright Court reported her debit card had been fraudulently used on two separate occasions. There were no suspects at news time.
Rent to own store reports a failure to return theft
At 5:13 Tuesday evening an employee of a rent to own Store in the 3200 block of West Broadway reported a person who rented a box springs and mattress in September of 2014 has not paid the payments, or returned the items. The incident is under investigation.
