Sexual assault reported in Sedalia Saturday evening

The Sedalia Police were dispatched to Bothwell Regional Health Center at 6:14 Saturday evening on a reported sexual assault. Upon arrival the victim told officers she was sexually assaulted at a residence in Sedalia. There was no further information in the police report.

Three people arrested at Centennial Park for minors in possession of intoxicants

At 2:19 Sedalia Police made contact with four people at the Centennial Park parking lot. The police report states a juvenile was taken into custody on a curfew violation. Arrested at the scene was 20-year-old Mathew Johnson of Sedalia, 17-year-old Marshall Tindell of Houstonia, and 17-year-old Dillon Pettis of Hughesville. All three were transported to the Pettis County jail pending bonds of $533.50 each on charges of possession and the purchase of intoxicants.

41-year-old Sedalia man arrested on drug related charges Thursday night

Around 7:12 Thursday night Sedalia Police responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 1200 block of West 5th. Upon arrival officers made contact with a suspect identified as 41-year-old Robert Fuemmeler of Sedalia. An investigation revealed he was in possession of synthetic narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana. At the time of the police report he was in the Pettis County jail pending formal charges.

Traffic stop nets woman with failure to appear warrants Friday night

Just after 11pm Friday night Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at 5th and Summitt. A check on the occupants of the vehicle revealed 43-year-old Tammy Despain of Sedalia had two active warrants for failure to appear out of Pettis County. Despain was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending bonds totaling $15,141.50.

35-year-old driver arrested on multiple charges during a traffic stop Friday night

At 7:06 Friday night Sedalia Police Stopped a vehicle at 16th and Warren Avenue with a driver operating a motor vehicle without a valid license. During an investigation the driver 35-year-old Jennifer Ray of Sedalia was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. At the time of the police report she was in the Pettis County jail pending formal charges.

Sedalia man arrested Saturday night for domestic assault and property damage

Around 8:45 Saturday night Sedalia Police arrested 46-year-old Robert Knox of Sedalia on charges of 2nd degree domestic assault, and 2nd degree property damage following an incident in the 400 block of Welch Court.

Local car dealer reports two vehicles damaged in a theft of a radio attempt

Just after 10:30 Friday morning Sedalia Police took a property damage complaint from a complainant wit MPS Motors at 712 West Main. According to the complainant someone broke windows out of two vehicles on the lot, and damaged the dash of one of them attempting to remove a radio. Estimated damage is set at $900.

Thief steals two license plates from man’s home

At 11:11 this (Monday) morning a victim in the 1000 block of East 3rd reported two license plates were stolen from his residence. There were no suspects at news time.
