24-year-old Sedalia woman arrested on a warrant Tuesday night

At 7:32 Tuesday night Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check at a residence in the 400 block of East 6th. Upon arrival the homeowner told officers the suspect had been there but had left earlier. The officers were given permission to search the residence, and located the suspect 24-year-old Brandy Naylor in a back room. Naylor was arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail pending an $88:50 bond on the Sedalia Municipal warrant.

Sedalia Police respond to a report of a subject with a knife Tuesday night

Around 9:20 Tuesday night Sedalia Police responded to a call in the 400 block of North Mill on a subject with a knife. The police report states two brothers had a verbal argument, and one of them pulled a pocket knife, but had not threatened anyone according to the caller. A search of the area failed to locate the subject, and the police report states the people involved would not cooperate, so the officers left.

Dog suffers minor injuries fighting another dog

Sedalia Police received a call from a man in the 300 block of West 13th at 7:30 Tuesday night in reference to dogs fighting. According to the caller his neighbor’s dog caused minor injuries to his dog during an altercation. The caller said he just wanted the incident documented.

Victim of assault doesn’t disclose the location of the incident

According to a police report a male victim reported being assaulted by a subject known to him, at an undisclosed location inside the city limits.
