Vandals egg the Heckart Family Center Tuesday morning

At 8:42 Tuesday morning Sedalia police took a property damage complaint from a complainant at the Heckart Family Center located at 903 South Ohio. According to the complainant someone threw eggs on the building. The dried eggs would reportedly require a power washer to remove from the building especially the glass in the doors. There were no suspects at news time.

Female victim reports a case of internet fraud

On Friday a female victim told Sedalia Police Officers she had ordered a puppy on line, that was supposed to be shipped from Savanna Georgia to Kansas City. The suspect reportedly received the payment for the puppy, but when the plane reached Kansas City the puppy was not on board. The victim said she has e-mailed, texted, and phoned but the suspect does not answer the calls. There was no information on the suspect.

Sedalia Police are investigating several theft reports

Around 3:45 Tuesday night Sedalia Police were dispatched to a residence in the 700 block of East 15th on a burglary complaint. Upon arrival the officers determined the thief or thieves made entry to the residence through a rear door. The victim told the officers a blue men’s wallet containing $400 in cash plus other items. There were no suspects at the time of the police report.

At 2:30 Monday afternoon a victim on Deseret Drive reported a thief stole her Sprint Apple I-Phone valued at $500. The theft reportedly occurred while she was having a garage sale at her residence. There were no suspects in the case.

According to a female victim her son’s Black Mongoose Bike was valued at $500 was stolen from a residence in the 1700 block of South Park.
