Suspect chokes a woman and throws bleach water on her Friday

Around 6:30 Friday evening Sedalia Police were dispatched to a disturbance in the 400 block of Booneville. Upon arrival the female victim told the officers 37-year-old Christopher W. Mathis had choked her and threw bleach water on her. Following the arrest of Mathis the officers found he was in possession of drug paraphernalia. At the time of the police report he was on 24-hour hold pending charges of 3rd degree domestic assault, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

21-year-old Burglary suspect captured Saturday morning

At 3:58am Saturday morning Sedalia Police investigated a burglary complaint from a female victim in the 400 block of Welch Court. According to the victim a suspect had attempted to gain entry to her residence. The woman gave officers a description of the suspect and at 11:21 that morning the suspect was located and arrested. The police report states 21-year-old Edgar A. Gonzalez-Perez was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a $283 bond and a court date.

Sedalia man arrested after kicking in a bedroom door Sunday morning

At 1:46am Sunday morning the Sedalia Police answered a 911 call in the 1300 block of East Broadway that was made using a deactivated cell phone. The police report states it was the second call made at the address. Upon arrival the female victim told the officers her boyfriend who had left after the first call, returned to the residence and kicked the bedroom door in. The woman then said he went around breaking things with a shower curtain rod. Arrested in the incident was 41-year-old Terry L. Auntley. He was taken to the Pettis County jail, and placed on 24-hour hold pending a formal charge of 3rd degree domestic assault.

33-year-old Sedalia woman arrested on a failure to appear warrant Saturday night

Around 9:15 Saturday night the Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at 16th and Osage with a driver known to have a failure to appear warrant out of Pettis County. The police report states following confirmation of the warrant 33-year-old Carrie Rachael Galloway of Sedalia was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail pending a $10,000 bond on the warrant.

Vehicle stop results in arrest for a failure to appear warrant

Just after 12:30am Saturday morning the Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at Poplar Place and Driftwood Drive with a driver with a failure to appear warrant. The police report states 21-year-old Charles E. Hann was arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail pending bonds totaling $1800.50.

Osage Beach woman arrested for driving while suspended Saturday morning

At 3:42 Saturday morning the Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at Plaza and Limit Avenue for not displaying a front license plate. The police report states a check through dispatch revealed the driver 44-year-old Katherine Nicole Wyatt of Osage Beach was suspended. She was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail pending a $533.50 bond.
