Fighting lands a Sedalia man in jail on multiple charges Wednesday night

At 11:13 Wednesday night (Nov. 27) Sedalia Police observed two subjects fighting in the 800 block of Olson Drive. Following an investigation 26-year-old Igor Sarioglo of Sedalia was found to have four warrants. At the time of the police report he was in the Pettis County Jail pending a total bond of $3709 on the warrants, and public peace disturbance for fighting.

Sedalia police arrest a shoplifter Thursday afternoon at a Breaktime Store

Around 1 Thursday afternoon (Nov. 28), Sedalia Police were dispatched to the Breaktime at 318 West Broadway on a shoplifter. Upon arrival officers located the suspect, and retrieved the stolen items. Arrested in the theft was 33-year-old Rachel Campbell of Sedalia. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail, and placed on 24-hour hold pending formal charges.

Traffic stop nets an intoxicated driver early Thursday morning

Just before 1:30 Thursday morning (Nov. 28),  Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle for improper use of a lane. Upon contact with the driver, 54-year-old Kenneth Sackett of Sedalia he was found to be intoxicated. Sackett was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a $642 bond for driving while intoxicated, and improper use4 of a lane.

Verbal disturbance leads to arrest for a 28-year-old Sedalia man

At 1:47 Thursday afternoon (Nov. 28),  Sedalia Police were dispatched to a verbal disturbance in the 1600 block of East 7th.Upon arrival officers made contact with 28-year-old Tyran Valentine of Sedalia. A check through dispatch revealed Valentine had a failure to appear warrant. He was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail pending a bond of $250 cash or surety.

Adult male treated for a dog bite at Bothwell Hospital Thursday afternoon

Just before 3 Thursday afternoon (Nov. 28), Sedalia police were dispatched to the Emergency Room at Bothwell Hospital on a dog bite. The adult victim told officers he was bit in the face while attempting to break up a dog fight. The police report states the victim required stitches to his lower lip, and forehead.

The Breaktime at 318 West Broadway reported a $25 gas drive off early this (Friday) morning.
