Man texts wrong phone for a drug deal

Just before midnight Tuesday night the Sedalia Police Department received a call from a man who reported, that someone had texted his son wanting to sell him drugs. The caller gave officers the information setting up an exchange where the suspect would be located. The police stopped a vehicle with the suspect, and a search of the vehicle revealed 24.5 grams of a high grade marijuana, and a digital scales. At the time of the police report the suspect 20-year-old Jakob E. Thomlonson of Sedalia was on 24-hour hold pending drug related charges.

23-year-old man arrested Saturday afternoon for stealing at Walmart

At 3:35 Saturday afternoon Sedalia Police responded to Walmart on a theft complaint. Upon arrival officers met with asset protection personnel, who reported a male suspect had stolen items from the store. The police report states later in the day the suspect was located and arrested. 23-year-old David Gene Williams Jr. was transported to the Pettis County Jail, and placed on 24-hour hold pending charges of stealing, burglary, and fraud.

Local business reports Thousands of Dollars stolen from its ATM

According to management at Rush Hour located at 1320 South Limit Tuesday afternoon, they discovered $3840 had been stolen from an ATM belonging to the business. The complainant was able to provide the Sedalia Police with suspect information in the case, and the investigation is ongoing.

Landlord says a female tenant took his washer and dryer when she left

Around 6:15 Tuesday evening Sedalia Police were dispatched to a residence in the 1300 block of West 16th on a theft complaint. Upon arrival officers met with a landlord who reported the theft of a washer and dryer. According to the landlord a female renter took the washer and dryer valued at $300 each when she moved out.

Pettis County Sheriff’s reports

According to a Pettis County sheriff’s report at 8am Tuesday morning Deputies were called to the probation and parole office in Sedalia for an individual with a warrant. Upon arrival the deputies arrested 45-year-old William C. Mulcrone of Sedalia, and took him to the Pettis County jail to await court.

On Tuesday Pettis County deputies took a burglary complaint from a victim in the 27000 block of Highway “M” There was no information on what was taken, and no suspect information was contained in the sheriff’s report.
