Afternoon: Sedalia Police Crime Reports For September 17, 2014
Sexual complaint filed with Sedalia Police this (Wednesday) morning
Just before 7am this (Wednesday) morning a male complainant reported a sexual encounter he experienced has caused him concern. The police report states the complaint has been documented.
Two men arrested on drug related charges during a traffic stop Tuesday morning
Around 2am Tuesday morning Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at 24th and Kentucky for not dimming the vehicle’s lights for oncoming traffic. Upon contact with the driver 18-year-old Ryan Garrigus of Sedalia the officer reportedly detected the odor of marijuana. A search of the vehicle produced marijuana, and prescription pills. Ryan was arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail where he was booked and released pending the filing of drug related charges. A passenger in the vehicle identified as 17-year-old Walter Garrigus of Sedalia was also arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail. Walter was booked and released pending the filing of drug related charges.
Run away juvenile returns home
At 2:45 this (Wednesday) morning Sedalia Police were dispatched to a residence in the 500 block of East 5th on a run-a-way juvenile. The police report states the juvenile was not located at the time, but the mother called around 5:30 this (Wednesday) morning to tell the police the juvenile had come home.
