Afternoon Sedalia Police Crime Reports For September 23, 2014

Walmart reports two attempted thefts to Sedalia Police

On Thursday the 18th of September Sedalia Police were dispatched to Walmart on a reported shoplifting. Upon arrival asset protection told officers the suspect identified as 43-year-old Zenaida Bocanegra of Sedalia had shoplifted $22.81 worth of clothing. Bocanegra was issued a Municipal Summons with a court date.

At 7pm Monday night Sedalia Police responded to the Walmart store on a theft complaint. Upon arrival the complainant told the officers 31-year-old Cassandra Brister of Sedalia had concealed items in her purse, and attempted to leave the store without paying. Brister was issued a Municipal Summons and a court date.
