Sedalia Police investigate a harassment complaint Tuesday morning

Just before 8am Tuesday morning Sedalia Police were dispatched to the McDonalds located at 1611 South Limit on a harassment complaint. Upon arrival officers met with the victim and a witness. Following an investigation the police officers located the suspect, 26-year-old Tyrone Gilmore of Marshall at a residence in the 600 block of West 16th. The police report states Gilmore entered the home when they arrived, and attempted to slam the door on them. He was arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail pending formal charges of driving while suspended, resisting arrest, and peace disturbance.

55-year-old Sedalia man arrested for driving while suspended

Around 9:30 this (Wednesday) morning Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at 16th and Arlington for not coming to a complete stop at the stop sign at 16th and New York. A check through dispatch revealed the driver 55-year-old Gregory Joe Hoskins of Sedalia was suspended. Hoskins was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail where he was booked and released with a court date.

Elder abuse case is being investigated by the Sedalia Police Department

On Thursday the 18th of September Sedalia Police spoke to a bank loan officer, who told them an elderly person may have been used to procure a loan, that they were not fully aware of the transaction. The report states the loan has apparently now fell to the co-signer, and they don’t not understand the paper work. An investigation is ongoing in the case.
Road Runner Auto reports a burglary Monday evening

At 8:30am this (Wednesday) morning Sedalia Police took a burglary complaint from a complainant at Road Runner Auto located at 1615 East Broadway. According to the complainant someone entered the building and stole a bank bag with around $15 in it, and a temperature gun valued at $300. The complainant provided the police with the name of a possible suspect.

Theft of an X-Box and fraudulent use of a credit device reported Monday

Just after 5pm Monday evening Sedalia Police took a theft complaint from a victim in the 1100 block of  West 3rd. The victim told the police officers someone had stolen an X-Box valued at $200, and had used a debit card taken in the theft in the amount of $54.16. There were no suspects at news time.
