Two suspects arrested Wednesday night for shoplifting at Walmart

At 9:36 Wednesday night Sedalia Police responded to the Walmart Store at 3201 West Broadway on a burglary complaint. Upon arrival the victim identified as an Asset Protection Agent reported she had observed a black male and a black female conceal merchandise. The agent stopped the suspects before they left the store, and asked for the merchandise. According to the victim the black male pushed her and struck her in the face, and then he and the female fled the area on foot. Following an investigation the police located the suspects at a residence in the 1600 block of South Sneed. The police report states the suspects identified as 27-year-old Chaquanta V. Brown, and Quamell C. Eteeyan of Sedalia were arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail, where they were placed on 24-hour hold pending charges of 2nd degree burglary, and shoplifting/stealing.

Sedalia man arrested for domestic assault with a pair of scissors

Around 11:30pm Tuesday night Sedalia police took an assault complaint from a female victim in the 200 block of West Broadway. According to the female victim she was assaulted with a pair of scissors at a residence in the 1100 block of South Massachusetts. Sedalia Policve Officers located the suspect identified as 54-year-old Robert Wayne Breshears of the residence, and took him to the Pettis County Jail. At the time of the police report Breshears was on 24-hour hold pending a charge of 3rd degree domestic assault.

Thieves target the Missouri State Fair Campgrounds for copper and brass thefts

At 11am Wednesday morning a complainant with the Missouri State Fair Grounds reported the theft of copper and brass from the campgrounds. Value of the copper and brass was placed at approximately $150. There was no information of the thief or thieves at news time.
Burglar gains access to a home through a window Wednesday morning

Just before 8:30  Wednesday morning Sedalia Police took a burglary complaint from a victim in the 1600 block of East 16th. According to the victim someone entered his home through a window around 6am that morning. There was no information on anything missing from the home, and no suspect information was included in the police report.

A wallet was reported stolen from a victim in the 1100 block of South Osage Wednesday afternoon. The victim said the wallet was taken by a female suspect who had been in the house on the 11th of April. The suspect had not been located at the time of the police report.

A woman in the 1100 block of South Osage reported her dog was stolen. The police have a description of the dog, but had not located it at news time.
