Afternoon Sedalia Police Crime Reports For Thursday April 30, 2015

28-year-old Sedalia man in jail on harassment of children charge

According to a Sedalia Police report Sedalia Police were dispatched to a residence on Dundee Avenue in reference to a subject who had reportedly come to the residence and threatened the children that live there. The victim knew the suspect, and the officers located the man identified as 28-year-old Brandon H. Schneider of Sedalia at his residence. Schneider was arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail pending charges of unlawful use of a weapon, assault 3rd degree, harassment to frighten another person, and trespass 2nd degree. The police report also list Schneider as intoxicated at the time of his arrest.

Warrant check results in arrest for a Sedalia man Wednesday afternoon

Just after 2pm Wednesday afternoon Sedalia police conducted a warrant check at a residence in the 1200 block of East 6th. Upon arrival officers made contact with the suspect 23-year-old Daniel L. Brown of Sedalia. Following confirmation of the warrant Brown was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail pending a $1000 bond on the Pettis County Warrant for failure to appear.

Traffic stop nets a Sedalia man for driving while suspended

At 5:06 Wednesday evening Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop at 10th and Massachusetts. A check through dispatch revealed the driver 36-year-old Shane O. Roberts of Sedalia was a suspended driver. Roberts was arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail where he was booked and released pending state charges of driving while suspended.
