29-year-old Sedalia woman arrested during a traffic stop for suspended license

At 10:30am Wednesday morning Sedalia Police investigated a non-injury accident at 16th and Limit. Upon arrival officers made contact with the subjects involved. A check through dispatch revealed one of them identified as 29-year-old Shahda Rosanna Lee of Sedalia was a suspended driver. She was reportedly arrested and taken to the Pettis County jail where she was booked and released pending a court date.

Sedalia man arrested for no license plates on his vehicle

Just before 7am this (Thursday) morning Sedalia Police observed a vehicle without license plates on 50 Highway. The police report states the vehicle was stopped at 9th and Ohio, and contact was made with the driver 22-year-old Brandon Lee Motley of Sedalia. A check through dispatch revealed that Motley was a suspended driver. He was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending formal charges of driving while suspended.

Vandals sought for damaging vehicles in a parking lot on Stacy Lane

Around 7:30am this (Thursday) morning Sedalia Police were dispatched to a residence in the 2400 block of Stacy Lane. Upon arrival the officers talked to a victim who told them his vehicle along with several other vehicles in the area had deep, irregular scratches on them. The vandals had left the area prior to the arrival of police officers, and there was no information on possible suspects.

Medicine reported stolen from a porch on west 7th

A man in the 1600 block of west 7th reported someone had stolen boxes of medication from his front porch sometime between the 18th and 20th of June. There were no suspects at news time.
