Afternoon Sedalia Police Crime Reports For Tuesday August 18, 2015

21-year-old Lamont Woman arrested for stealing Monday

At 9:48 Monday morning Sedalia Police were dispatched to the Walmart Store on a theft complaint. Upon arrival store personnel told them a witness had observed 21-year-old Alexandra Nichole Hickman place items in her purse, and start to leave the store without paying. The police report states Hickman was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail where she was booked and released with a court date.

Theft from a vehicle reported in the 500 block of West 11th Monday

Just after 6pm Monday evening Sedalia Police took a theft complaint from a victim in the 500 block of  West 11th. According to the victim sometime overnight someone entered her vehicle and took her purse, that contained an undisclosed amount of cash, and other items. There were no suspects at the time of the police report.
