Homeless man arrested on stealing and drug related charges this (Tuesday) morning

At 1:38am this (Tuesday) morning Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle on Aaron Avenue for a vehicle check. Upon contact with the driver 18-year-old Tristin Andrew Oja a homeless person it was revealed the registration on the vehicle was stolen. The police report also states a search of the vehicle uncovered multiple drug related items. Oja was arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail, and placed on 24-hour hold pending formal charges of stealing, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

44-year-old Sedalia woman arrested Monday night on multiple charges

Just before 11pm Monday night Sedalia Police responded to a disturbance in the 1100 block of Merriam Avenue. Upon arrival officers made contact with the suspect identified as 44-year-old tammy Lynn Lee of the residence. A check through dispatch revealed Lee had active warrants out of Pettis County for failure to appear. She was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail pending a $5000 bond.

Cinder Block thrown through a car’s windshield Monday

Around 10:20am Monday morning Sedalia Police took a property damage complaint from a victim in the 500 block of West 16th. Upon arrival the victim told the officer someone had thrown a cinder block through his windshield damaging the glass and the hood of the vehicle. Estimated damage was said to be around $300. There was no information on a possible suspect.
