Traffic stop results in arrest for a Sedalia man

At 10:34pm Monday night Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at 5th and Lafayette for failing to signal. A subsequent check on the occupants of the vehicle revealed a passenger identified as 20-year-old Jacob David Haulcy of Sedalia had a Benton County Warrant for failure to appear, and a Sedalia Municipal Warrant for failure to appear. Haulcy was also found to be in possession of marijuana. He was arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail pending a total of $1622 in bonds.

Sedalia man arrested on a city warrant

Sedalia Police arrested 23-year-old Coronado Salomon of Sedalia on a Sedalia City Warrant for failure to appear. Bond was set at $88.50 cash only.

Sedalia Police serve an Ex-Parte out of Henry County Monday

Around 2:30 Monday afternoon Sedalia Police were dispatched to serve an Ex-Parte to a female subject out of Henry County. According to a male subject he and the female subject had separated, and he had temporary custody of the children.

Metal theft reported on west Broadway Monday morning

At 10:30 Monday morning Sedalia Police took a theft complaint from a victim in the 700 block of west Broadway. According to the victim someone stole 5-ten foot sections of wrought iron fence from his back yard. The victim did not know the value of the fencing, and a suspect had not been located at the time of the police report.

Vandals strike St. Paul’s Lutheran School

Just after 7am this (Tuesday) morning Sedalia Police Officers were sent to St. Paul’s Lutheran School on a vandalism complaint. Upon arrival a Trustee of the school told them someone had removed three light bulbs from the south side of the building, and broke them on the sidewalk. There were no suspects at news time.
