Just after midnight, Sedalia police stopped a vehicle at 16th and Washington after recognizing it as one involved in a theft complaint at Walmart, that had just occurred. Upon contact with the occupants, the male suspect, 35-year-old Ronald William Duncan Jr. of Sedalia, was identified. The police report also states a female passenger, 33-year-old Lydia Nicole Hays of Sedalia, was found to have a warrant for failure to appear. At the time of the police report both suspects were in the Pettis County Jail. Duncan has a bond of $533.50, and Hays has a cash only bond of $250. The stolen merchandise was returned to Walmart according to the report.

Two suspects arrested on failure to appear warrants Monday night

At 7:51 Monday night Sedalia Police were dispatched to Wood’s at 701 East Broadway on two-suspects sitting in a vehicle in front of the store, that were known to have active warrants. Upon arrival the officers located the suspects, and after confirmation of the warrants arrested 25-year-old Anesha Nicole Sims, and David Eddie Taylor, both of Sedalia. At the time of the police report both suspects were in the Pettis County Jail. Sims had a bond of $7500 cash or surety, and Taylors bond was set at $150 cash only.

3-men arrested Monday night on peace disturbance charges

Around 7:30 Monday night Sedalia Police responded to a physical disturbance at 10th and Marshall Avenue. Upon arrival officers observed three men arguing in the roadway. Following an investigation 31-year-old Bear M.D. Manley, 25-year-old Jeromie Lee Reed of Sedalia, and 22-year-old Devon Ray Burns of Warrensburg were arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail pending Bonds of $283.50 each on peace disturbance charges.

36-year-old  rural Sedalia man arrested on a failure to appear warrant Monday night

At 11:15pm Monday night Sedalia police arrested 36-year-old John Michael Woodard of rural Sedalia was arrested on a Municipal failure to appear warrant. Bond was set at $50 cash only.
